Zhuhai, July 26th, 2017 – China GT Championship will be in the limelight at the Zhuhai International Circuit this weekend. Bentley Team Absolute will be at the third round on “home” soil well prepared and with the goal of taking the Bentley Continental GT3 onto the podium.

The team head to the race weekend renewed optimism and high hopes. However Bentley Team Absolute will be without Chinese movie star Han Geng, who is unable to attend the event due to professional commitments.

Therefore Hong Kong’s Adderly Fong and Thailand’s Vutthikorn Inthrapuvasak will move to the #09 Hard Memory Bentley Continental GT3 for this weekend only. Malaysia’s Weiron Tan and Korea’s Andrew Kim will be entrusted of the #05 Bentley Continental GT3 once again.

Last round in Zhuhai, Tan and Kim brought the #05 Continental GT3 home in fourth, just narrowly missing out on a podium finish. The youngest duo of the GT3 class left their mark in the event in the form of a pole-position for the second race.

Fong and Vutthikorn will be one pair to watch too, heading into Round 5 and 6 with one pole-position under their belt from the past Zhuhai event and a podium finish at Beijing. If anyone is going to put the pressure on the championship favorites, it may as well be them.

Commenting about the weekend ahead, Team Director, Fabien Fior said: “We did quite well last time here in Zhuhai as qualifying results demonstrate. I expect we will be able to take another step forward in terms of performance and race results. Adderly and Vutthi showed that they can be constant threats for podium positions while Andrew and Weiron have great potential and we look forward to see them fulfill it this weekend.”
