Absolute Corse is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in its emerging motorsport journey, fielding two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 entries in the 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS.
The Absolute Racing subsidiary team’s campaign will kick off at the season opener at Sepang International Circuit, with Huang Ruohan and Akash Nandy behind the wheel of the #29 Absolute Corse Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in Silver-Am for this landmark debut.
Both drivers are already familiar faces within the Absolute Racing environment, having previously competed in the GT World Challenge Asia. Bronze-rated driver Huang Ruohan emerged as one of last season’s breakthrough talents, impressing with consistently strong performances and clinching a memorable overall win in Thailand and followed it up with a Pro-Am class victory in Okayama. The Chinese driver also took part in the TSS Super Series, where he won one overall race and five class victories, along with three overall podiums throughout the six encounters.
Lining up alongside him is Akash Nandy, a well-established name within the Absolute Racing fold, known for his past successful stints in the GT World Challenge Asia as well as TSS Super Series. The Malaysian ace secured a flawless pole-to-flag overall victory in Okayama, finishing third in Silver Cup after three class wins. He will be driving the naturally aspirated V10 engine powered car for the first time at his home track at Sepang.
Due to logistical limitations, the #19 Absolute Corse Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 campaign will only commence from the second round, when the GT World Challenge Asia makes its long-awaited and eagerly anticipated debut at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia. The driver line-up will be announced in due course.
Absolute Racing has been part of the Lamborghini family since 2023, when it joined the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia. Since then, the team has secured the Teams' Championship title, alongside victories in the Pro, Am, and Lamborghini Cup classes.
Team Quotes
Ingo Matter (Absolute Racing Team Principal)
We are thrilled at Absolute Corse to partner with Lamborghini. We have enjoyed considerable success in the one-make series, so it felt like the right time to step up to GT3, and the GT World Challenge Asia is the perfect platform for this. Although we weren’t able to field a second entry for the opening round at Sepang, we will be racing this season. More details will be announced very soon.

I’m incredibly excited to join Absolute Corse for this new chapter, racing with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO 2. It’s an exciting challenge for us with the new car and a fresh driver pairing with Huang Ruo Han, as I return for my second season in the GT World Challenge Asia. Our goal is to consistently fight for strong results, and I’m confident that with the competitive package we have, we’ll be well-positioned. I’m also deeply grateful to my sponsor, Bin Zayed International, and Absolute Corse for making this opportunity possible.
