Absolute Racing’s teams, SODA-GRIT Motorsport and HZO Fortis Team by Absolute, celebrated a triumphant finale to the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia (LSTA) season with stunning class victories in the AM and Lamborghini Cup categories at Circuito de Jerez, Spain.

The final races of the LSTA season, held on Thursday and Friday, delivered standout performances. SODA-GRIT Motorsport’s Brian Lee clinched back-to-back victories in the AM class, while Haziq and Hairie Oh mirrored this success in the Lamborghini Cup, sealing an almost flawless end of the season for both teams. Meanwhile, series newcomers 610 Racing by Absolute faced a challenging weekend in Andaluzia.

The penultimate race of the season unfolded on a drying track, with teams forced to gamble between slick and wet tyres. Absolute Racing’s line-ups launched an aggressive attack from the start. Brian Lee delivered a sensational performance, battling for overall top-three positions and ultimately securing a remarkable third-place finish overall, alongside the AM class victory.

In a dramatic turn of events, HZO Fortis Team by Absolute’s Haziq and Hairie Oh claimed their ninth Lamborghini Cup win of the season in challenging conditions. This hard-fought victory earned the Malaysian brothers the 2024 Lamborghini Cup title—a testament to their resilience and ever-improving pace.

However, the race wasn’t without setbacks. 610 Racing by Absolute’s Wenjun Xie spun twice, ending up further down the field in the tricky conditions.

Friday’s finale marked the culmination of a season that spanned iconic tracks across Malaysia, Australia, South Korea, Japan, China, and Spain, with the Circuito de Jerez providing a fittingly dramatic conclusion.

Under the Andalusian sun, SODA-GRIT Motorsport’s Brian Lee once again proved his mettle. With his AM title secured, Lee set his sights on the overall podium. In a stunning charge, he overtook the Pro champion and vice-champion cars to climb to second place overall. Although a post-race penalty for another competitor promoted him to second officially, Lee celebrated another commanding AM class win.

In the Lamborghini Cup, HZO Fortis Team’s Haziq and Hairie Oh secured their 11th win of the season and the title with an 11th-place overall finish, capping off an extraordinary season.

The 610 Racing by Absolute Huracán, driven by Wenjun Xie, found itself stuck in the sand at Turn 15 on lap 4, fortunately avoiding any significant damage but prompting a safety car intervention. It was an unfortunate moment that capped off a challenging season for the Chinese team, who undoubtedly deserved a better end to their campaign.

Lamborghini World Finals

Brian Lee and the Oh brothers took on the best from Lamborghini’s one-make series in America and Europe at the Lamborghini World Finals. While Brian Lee’s weekend was cut short by an early incident, the Oh brothers gained invaluable experience in their debut against the global Super Trofeo elite, finishing P5 in the Lamborghini Class in race one.

Absolute Racing’s accomplishments in 2024 reaffirm their status as a dominant force in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia series, with eyes now firmly set on an even stronger campaign in 2025.
